"Free" Data

Welcome to the Practicing What We Preach department.
Warranty: On your own head be it.

Please cache this data. It'll only be updated a maximum of once every 24 hours.

Councils (CSV)

Contents: Name, shortname and URL for every local authority in the UK plus the Greater London Authority which technically isn't a council. Includes our own mts_council_id field as there aren't any legally-unencumbered council IDs to my knowledge despite about nine common ones being in existence.

Licence: Moderately iffy. A totally-legit version is in the pipeline.

RSS Feeds (CSV)

Contents: Title and URL for all the council RSS feeds we can find through grabbing autodiscovery links from council home pages. Includes mts_council_id as a foreign key to the Councils data above and our own mts_feed_id as a primary key.

Licence: No rights reserved. Not actually a licence but Creative Commons Zero (CC0) 1.0 -- an affirmation that we created this data and we're disclaiming all ownership of it to the full extent of the law. Use it as you please.
